Status ：Zheng Ye graduated from Department of Chinese Painting, Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (the predecessor of CAA) with a B.A. in figure painting, He obtained his M.F.A. from Department of Art and Culture, University of Bremen in Germany. He then successfully acquired a PhD in The Institute of Art History, Department of History and Culture at Free University of Berlin. He has worked at the Weserburg Museum of Modern Art in Bremen and the Hamburger Kunsthalle, and was the former curator of the International Literature Festival in Berlin and the Lessingtage Festival in Hamburg. He was also the former advisor of the Peter Weiss Foundation Art Program. Zheng Ye is now a researcher with his main interests in modern and contemporary art history and theory, cross-cultural research on Pattern and Textile Art, as well as Bauhaus and modern design.
Description
艺术史学者。毕业于浙江美术学院（现中国美术学院）中国画系人物专业（学士）、德国布莱梅大学艺术学系和文化学系（艺术学硕士）和柏林自由大学历史与文化学系艺术史研究所（哲学博士）；曾工作于德国布莱梅维萨堡美术馆和汉堡美术馆、曾担任柏林国际文学节和汉堡莱辛文化节策展人、彼得·魏斯基金会艺术项目主持和顾问。主要研究领域为现当代艺术历史与理论、跨文化图案和图像研究、包豪斯与现代设计等。
