Status ：Yang Jinsong was born in 1955 in Jinzhong, Shanxi Province. He attended the Special Handicraft Class of Hunan Light Industry School, obtained his B.A. from the Department of Printmaking, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and proceeded to finish his M.F.A. in the Department of Printmaking at Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (the predecessor of CAA). He studied abroad in Europe for many years. His past positions include: director of the Department of Printmaking at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, director of the Department of Comprehensive Painting at CAA, associate dean of School of Intermedia Art at CAA, and deputy curator of CAA art museum. Yang is currently the deputy director of Comprehensive Material Art Committee at China Artists Association, director of Zhejiang Committee of Comprehensive Art, and takes professorial position at CAA.

艺术家。1955年生于山西晋中。毕业于湖南省轻工学校特种工艺班、广州美术学院版画系（学士）、浙江美术学院（现中国美术学院）版画系（硕士），曾赴欧洲求学多年；曾担任西安美术学院版画系系主任、中国美术学院综合艺术系系主任、中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院副院长、中国美术学院美术馆副馆长；现为中国美协综合材料绘画艺委会副主任、浙江省综合艺术委员会主任、中国美术学院教授。
